Cancellation of 2021 Country Show Day

Dear Whanau 

Due to the uncertainty of COVID restrictions, it is with extreme sadness that we are  announcing Silverdale School’s Country Show Day 2021 has been cancelled. We will be back bigger and better in 2022.

Country Show Day is Silverdale School’s biggest fundraising event. The event attracts over 3,000 people each year and is well regarded as the biggest and best school gala in the region.

Thank you to all the businesses that have donated vouchers and goods for our online Silent Auction.  We are very humbled in receiving these items as we are aware of the hard times you have been in. We will advise in due course when our live auction will go ahead.

For the parents that have donated $25 into our PTA bank account for the Quick Fire groceries, if you would like these funds to be returned to you, can you please email us silverdalepta@gmail.com with your bank details and we will return your funds in a timely manner.

Also, our Bingo Night has been cancelled.  It was to be a fun night for the adults with Beats by Bingo entertaining us all.

It’s time to join your local Surf Life Saving Club at the most family friendly beach on the coast – Orewa!

Our Jr training program will be starting from Sunday 31 Oct – with Covid Level 1 & 2 protocols in place, we are ready to go.

You must be a fully registered member to participate at a Covid Level 2. So get your enrolments completed by no later than 17 October to ensure your family is ready to hit the beach.
