Thank You to Our Fantastic Support Staff

I would like to thank all our teacher aides, office staff and caretaker for the amount of work they do for our school. If you see these people today or any day please say thank you for all their hard work and effort they put into our school. We celebrated the wonderful work they do for us by having a morning tea for our wonderful support staff.

Little Toot the Best Tractor

When I saw little Toot I was so excited to see him. He looked so amazing. Little Toot was so happy to see us. I wish that Little Toot could be as fast as a cat. Little Toot was so hurt because he was rusty and Mr Pierce’s did not take him out that much. He sounds like a bull. When we left he looked so sad. I love little Toot, he was so amazing. Little Toot was the best. I want to see Little Toot every day.

Deandre du Toit

Little Toot

Little Toot was so miserable and then my friends came. Mr Pierce turned Little Toots’ heart back on. Max (the dog) woke up. He was really harikoa! And after we proudly stomped back to the classroom.

James Best

Little Toot

Little Toot was waiting to be turned on for 18 years. But when we came to see him, then he became excited. Then Mr Pierce finally turned him on. Then he did his happiest tooting ever! When Mr Pierce turned him off he got frustrated because he thought he was going for a ride.

Dru King

Little Toot

Little Toot felt lonely and then Max tried to cheer him up. Little Toot felt jealous because of the new tractor. Humans turned up and he got angry because he never got used to it. James patted him softly on his head and he was now calm. Then Mr Pierce turned him on. Little Toot had black smoke in him because he wasn’t feeling well. Mr Pierce rode him like a bull.

If you want your kids to be able to play sport in a school team through SportsHub then new coordinators are required by 8th November 2021.

Background: What is SportsHub?

SportsHub is here to enable Silverdale School children to play in school sport competitions after school, to ensure all kids had access to sport and to improve the health and wellbeing of the students.

What is needed?

YOU. If you want to take a sports-coordinator role please email silverdalesportshub@gmail.com and we’ll connect you with the current coordinator to run through processes and to arrange a handover for 2022.

What roles are available?

Vacant Roles:

Sport coordinator – Basketball

Sport coordinator – FlippaBall

Sport coordinator – Hockey

Sport coordinator – Netball

Sport coordinator – Summer Soccer

Sport coordinator – Summer Touch Rugby

SportsHub coordinator – Overall

How much time is required?

Workload wise each role typically involves 20 – 40 hours of activity spread across several weeks.

What if no one volunteers?

If these positions are not filled then SportsHub will close at the end of this year, resulting in parents/caregivers taking all responsibility in the organisation of their own child playing sport outside of school.
