Welcome everyone to Term 2. A HUGE welcome to our new families. It was great to see so many happy faces coming into school on Monday for our Põhiri.

Mother’s Morning or Significant Females
Mother’s Morning or Significant Females morning is on Thursday 13 May from 8.55am to 10.30am. All mothers or significant females are invited to their child’s classroom to spend the morning with them. At 10.55am our Mother’s or Significant Females are invited to stay with the class and share morning tea with the class.

Book Week
Book Week will be taking place this term during Week 3, Monday 17 May to Friday 21 May. The Scholastic Book Fair will be held in the meeting room inside the library from Monday to Thursday. Please come in that week and look at the range of books and other items available for sale. Details of the times it will be open are below and will also be on notices around the school.
On Friday 21 May we will finish off Book Week with our traditional Book Character Parade in the hall. Students take part in a parade dressed up as a favourite book character. All are welcome to attend.
For the Year 0-2 classes the Book Character Parade will take place in the hall at 9.10am.
For the Year 3-4 classes the Book Character Parade will take place in the hall at 10.10am.
For the Year 5-6 classes the Book Character Parade will take place in the hall at 11.30am.
There will be other fun activities happening in classes during the week.
