Thank you to everyone who completed the Silverdale School Alert Level 3 Information survey. From the survey we will have 19 children at school during alert level three.

Alert Level Three at Silverdale School

Families will continue to use the Silverdale School’s Home Learning. Senior Leadership Team and Team Leaders will continue to upload additional tasks throughout Alert Level 3. These tasks will be exactly the same whether students are learning from home or at school. This will ensure coherence and consistency in learning between home and school regardless of attendance, and will assist with teacher workload, relationships and connections. Students at home can complete tasks at their own pace, while the teacher and teacher aide will support students at school.

Bubbles

We will have 2 bubbles, one of 9 children and one of 10 children. The staff that will be in the bubbles are:

Bubble 1 – Miss Kendall Martin and Mrs Cesca Jensen (Teacher Aide), Rooms 5 and 7

Bubble 2 – Miss Jackie Boyd and Miss Giorgia Doughty (Teacher Aide), Rooms 9 and 11

During this time there will only be 5 staff members on site, myself and the four staff members in the bubbles.

Alert Level Three will start on Wednesday 29 April. Only the 5 staff members and the 19 children will be allowed on site. Parents/caregivers can not send their child/ren to school unless they are on the attending school alert level three list.
