WELCOME TO SILVERDALE SCHOOL
Welcome to our great school. My name is Cameron Lockie and I’m very privileged to be the principal of Silverdale School.

Silverdale School has a dedicated staff, supportive parents and community and great children that enjoy all the benefits of a dynamic, peaceful and high performing school.

Our school offers our children a broad curriculum, excellent facilities/grounds, extensive extra-curricular activities and programs as well as having a friendly, safe and caring school environment and culture.

Silverdale School values partnerships between home, school and community. Parents and community members are involved in many areas of the school such as classroom helpers, sporting activities, drama, music, ground improvement, fundraising, camps and trips. Parents also are able to help out through the PTA which plays an important role within the school in fundraising activities for students and the wider school community.

Silverdale School considers student wellbeing a high priority. Children learn in a positive environment, which encourages cooperation, student leadership and effective communication between teachers, students and family.

Our curriculum is both very challenging and knowledge-based. By creating a climate that fosters good learning habits we will enable them to face challenges, difficulties and new situations in a calm, confident and creative way – not only in school, but way beyond into the real world of everyday life and for future employment.

Our motto is ‘Learn to Journey - Journey to Learn’ and as principal I am proud to say – as a school community - we live our values.
