Learn to Journey - Journey to Learn
Haere mai haere mai haere mai.
Welcome to our Silverdale School website.
We continue to be a fast-paced, dynamic forward thinking school of Yr 1 - 8 students. We have added to our sparkling facility in Longmore Lane, off Millwater Parkway in North Silverdale, since moving here at the end of 2006. Our school is sited in the developing Millwater subdivision and we feel very privileged to be able to learn and teach in such fine surroundings.
Further information about our school is found under Our School / Special Features. These describe our school and community, a snippet about our buildings and environment, a little about our students and some of the special programmes we offer at the school.
Our vision statement is "Learn to Journey - Journey to Learn" and students, teachers and parents, in partnership, explore our passion and excitement for enriching our student’s pathway of learning. We continually add to our backpacks or kete of learning those attributes and skills we need for our learning journey.
As a Learning Powered school we promote Resilience, Resourcefulness, Reflectiveness and Reciprocity.
Check out our Syndicate Pages to understand and appreciate some of the activities we have been engaged in. Under More, further links to our special home learning programme (The PEAKS Challenges), and other information is available. Our Events Calendar outlines the dates and times of all the important events at school.
