On Wednesday 29 April, Silverdale School is having a Stride and Ride Day. We are encouraging as many students/teachers to travel to and from school car free.
At Silverdale, we are committed to sustainability and the wellbeing of our tamariki. This event is all about encouraging our community to ditch the car for a morning and afternoon and find a more active way to get to school. Whether you choose to walk, scoot, bike, or even skate, we want to see you moving.
We’ll have music pumping on the courts to welcome everyone. Students can sign our “Stride and Ride” banner to show their commitment to a greener Silverdale. We encourage parents and caregivers to join in the fun and walk or ride alongside your children.
