Mufti Day (no uniform day) Friday 6 December

On Friday  December we will have a Christmas mufti day (no uniform day) for the SALT Trust. We are asking that children bring in a can of food as a donation to the SALT Trust for their Christmas food bank.

School Uniform

I have been noticing children wearing incorrect uniform to school. Please make sure that your child is wearing the correct uniform when they come to school. Thank you for your support in this.

Green polo shirt (with school logo)

Green fleece jacket (with school logo) 

Black culottes             

Black cargo shorts or cargo pants (no track pants) 

Black school shoes or black sandals (no boots)

Black socks or stockings (no ankle tights/leggings)

Black sun hat with school logo (Terms 1 and 4) 

Black, white or green hair bands/ties                             

Short sleeved black thermals are permitted to wear underneath.

Jewellery is not to be worn except for watches, stud earrings and items of a religious or cultural nature.

Children should be arriving and leaving school with shoes on.

These can be purchased via Kindo.  A report is run daily at 9.30am.  The hats are then labelled and handed out to the students.

New Zealand Traveller Declaration

Going overseas for the school holidays? Everyone travelling into New Zealand must complete a New Zealand Traveller Declaration, including returning New Zealand passport holders.

Its FREE and you can do it on the online form or on the NZTD app. 

If you’re travelling as a family or group and completing multiple declarations, the NZTD app allows you to copy your travel details into another declaration, making it easier to complete multiple declarations for the same journey. The submitted declarations are then all easy to see within the app. 

The New Zealand Traveller Declaration collects travel, customs, immigration and biosecurity information and aims to improve the safety and security of New Zealand. It replaces the paper card you used to fill out on the plane.
