Country Show Day on Saturday 18 October, is the highlight of the year! This event is vital, having previously raised over $40,000 annually for essential resources like Chromebooks, iPads, learning resources, resurfacing the court area, canopy over the courts, playgrounds, and kapa haka uniforms—all directly benefiting our children.
This year, our fundraising focus is building a dedicated passive play area at the front of the school. This calm, low-energy space will be perfect for relaxation, quiet social interaction, and reading, providing a crucial retreat from high-activity games.

We Need Your Help! (Sign Up for a Stall)
The PTA works incredibly hard, but the day’s success depends on our community. Your child’s teacher has emailed you asking for just one hour of your time to help run a stall on the day. If you haven’t yet signed up, please contact your child’s teacher to volunteer.

Jolly Jar Challenge: Win Ice Blocks!
The Jolly Jar stall is always a massive hit, but submissions are low this year! We need your creations.
The class that brings in the highest number of Jolly Jars by Wednesday 15 October, will win an ice block party for every student, and the classroom teacher will receive a free coffee from Millies. If your child hasn’t brought their jar in, please encourage them to do so now. (Instructions on making a Jolly Jar can be found in the Wednesday 17 September newsletter.)
